SPICES:
That Sabarimala is in the neighbourhood of Kerala's spice belt, the pilgrimage gives the
devotees from outside Kerala or India a chance to buy original spices. There are many
authorised shops selling exotic species at Kumily, Vandiperiyar and Kottayam.
MEMENTOES:
Ayyappa lockets, rings, pens, calendars and scores of curios are available at
Pamba and Sannidhanam for the devotee to take back home. Though there are many private
stalls, purchase these from the Devaswom stall at Sannidhanam and don't get religiously
cheated.
