Dynamic fonts do not work

1.
Check your browser version.

     Browsers that can view WebFonts (dynamic fonts) are:
                        a.)   Netscape 4.03 or above - any operating system except Linux
                        b.)   Internet Explorer 4.0 or above  - for Windows
                        c.)   AOL 4.0 or above  - for Windows
                        d.)   iCab for Macintosh

2. Force the page to reload by holding down the Shift key while clicking the
     Reload or Refresh button.

3. Move to a non-PFR page, then delete the browser cache(s).
    Re-load page

 


Dynamic fonts work in Internet Explorer but not in Netscape

1. Check your browser version. You need Netscape 4.03 or higher to view dynamic fonts.

2. Check the dynamic fonts option in Netscape.

    Open the Edit menu, and choose Preferences.
     If Appearance has a plus sign (+) next to it, click the + Under Appearance, choose Fonts     Make sure the following option is checked:
     Use document specified fonts, including dynamic fonts

3. Force the page to reload by holding down the Shift key while clicking the
       Reload or Refresh button.

4. Move to a non-Dynamic Font page, then delete the Netscape caches.
    Re-load the WebFont page.

5. If you are still having the problem,

         a. Select View menu of the browser, choose Character Set option
         b. Choose User Defined.

 


Dynamic fonts work in Netscape but not in Internet Explorer

1. Check your browser version.
     You need Internet Explorer 4.0 for Windows or higher to view dynamic fonts.
     Dynamic fonts in Internet Explorer are supported only under Windows,
     Dynamic fonts are not supported in Internet Explorer for other operating systems.

2. Force the page to reload by holding down the Shift key while clicking the
     Reload or Refresh button.

3. Check the Security setting in Internet Explorer.
     If you are using IE 4.X then click on browser's view menu. Then select Internet Options
     If you are using IE 5.0 then click on browser's tools menu. Then select Internet Options       Select SECURITY tab.
      Set security to Medium to allow the WebFont player to download for the first time.

 


Dynamic fonts look jagged or rough in Internet Explorer

In your Windows Display Properties sheet, turn on "font smoothing".
To turn on font smoothing, right click anywhere on you desktop.
Choose Properties.
In Windows NT 4.x and Windows 95, select the Plus! tab.
In Windows 98 select the Effects tab
Put a check mark in the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" box.
Click OK

I see dots and lines instead of my dynamic fonts. How do I fix this?

Your Netscape browser has probably run out of memory resources.
Close your Netscape browser, then re-open it.

Also, make sure you have the latest release from Netscape.


There is a white fringe around dynamic font in Netscape
This problem is not in the dynamic font file. It is in the dynamic font displayer used by         Netscape.It should have been fixed in Netscape browser versions 4.05 and 4.07, but             is back in Netscape 4.5
